What it Does

Chill Lid actively cools and protects your hydroponic reservoir, improving temperature stability and water quality.

Lowers Reservoir Temperature

Chill Lid reduces reservoir temperatures 4–5°C (8–9°F) below expected temperatures under normal operating conditions. Chill Lid will cool your water solution below the temperature in the tent, or the air temperature in your residence, using evaporative cooling.

Extends Ice Intervals

By slowing heat accumulation, Chill Lid doubles to triples the time between ice additions, reducing daily maintenance and temperature swings.

Slows Heat Buildup Under Load

In high-load conditions (continuous pump operation), reservoirs fitted with Chill Lid warm approximately 2× more slowly than normal lids.

Eliminates the Need for Ice in Cool Rooms

When the control bucket outside the grow tent in rooms below ~20°C (68°F), Chill Lid can maintain safe reservoir temperatures without ice or chillers.

Keeps Reservoirs Clean and Stable

By sealing the bucket and filtering incoming air, Chill Lid helps maintain cleaner nutrient solutions, reduces debris buildup, and minimizes conditions that lead to algae and microbial growth.
